Our Story
Founded in 2017 in Trivandrum, Kerala, Tensorbot was built to close the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical, deployable systems. Eight years and 30+ projects later, we operate across India, the UK, and the Middle East — with three divisions and a training programme that has reached 2,000+ engineers.

Where Tensorbot came from.
Most AI companies can write models. Most robotics companies can build machines. Very few can do both — and even fewer know how to fuse the two into systems that actually work in a hospital ward, on a factory floor, or on the side of a high-rise building.
That gap is why Tensorbot exists.
Tensorbot Innovations was founded in 2017 out of a problem its engineers kept running into: businesses had real challenges that AI and robotics could solve, but the path from research to production was broken. Systems that worked in controlled demos didn't survive contact with the real world.
Starting from the Technology Business Incubator at the College of Engineering Trivandrum, supported by Kerala Startup Mission, Tensorbot began taking on complex, cross-disciplinary projects. Embedded AI devices. Robotics for healthcare and industry. Computer vision for manufacturing and surveillance. Language models for enterprise workflows. A composite panel monitoring system for India's space programme.
Eight years on, Tensorbot operates as three connected divisions: Tensorbot Innovations builds custom AI and robotics systems for clients across 12 industries. Tensor Labs is the premium R&D division — where the hardest technical ideas get validated in 20 days. Tensor Academy has trained 2,000+ engineers and sends the best into the Labs pipeline as Tensor Fellows.
